UCI BMX Supercross
Since 2011: an annual elite sports event @Papendal that you may not miss out on. Where strength, technique and courage come together. Where world’s best BMX riders compete with each other. Come to the BMX Supercross 2020 on 1, 2 and 3 May and watch this spectacle with your own eyes!

After you have recovered from the BMX sensation, you can relax at the festival next door, which you can enter free of charge. With delicious food, lots of music, culture and a great atmosphere. You can also register for the Round of Arnhem. An amazing cycling event.

BMX
Bicycle Motocross (BMX). One of the most spectacular cycling disciplines. It came over from the United States in the eighties where cross riders rode on motocross tracks with small bikes. Since 2008, BMX is an Olympic sport.

And more popular than ever before. In the Netherlands too, as our BMX riders rank among the world’s best. So we have seen during the Olympics in 2012 when Laura Smulders won a bronze medal. And in 2016, Jelle van Gorkom won silver in Rio de Janeiro!

Each year, five UCI BMX Supercross world championships are being held. Where Dutch riders can earn important points for the UCI ranking. In 2020, two of these world championships take place @Papendal. All in one weekend! Both on Saturday and Sunday, a UCI BMX Supercross World Cup will be ridden. A unique opportunity for BMX fans to see their heroes in action. Or get to know this dynamic sport. Will you come cheer for our Dutch riders on 1, 2 & 3 may 2020?
